Arlington

Arlington is on the Northeast Side of Jacksonville across the big red Matthews Bridge (Arlington Expressway coming from Downtown). Arlington is also primarily residential with some newer construction neighborhoods, but it is known for its rich boom in the late 70s and early 80s when the bridge was constructed. Many ranch-style homes were built in the 80’s in this area. The Fort Caroline area will sweep you away with its rich Spanish moss tree lines near Mill Cove. This area leads you toward Blout Island and the Mayport Naval Base. 10 minutes to downtown and 20-30 minutes to the beach, and 30 minutes to the southside corporate offices.
