Westside

The Westside may be furthest from the Beach but you’ll certainly get more houses for your money. Land lovers can’t get enough of West Jax and Clay County. Closer to downtown will be residential & industrial, but the further out you go, you’ll find residential and some farmland. The popular Oakleaf Plantation area is located on the westside in Clay County with a subdivision feel & resort-style amenities, newer construction homes, and the Oakleaf Shopping district. They are building a new toll road to connect this area with I-10 going towards Downtown. The West Beltway (295), and I-10 are the major outlets on this side of town. NAS Jax Naval Base is also located off of Rosevelt on the west side. You also have Orange Park, Middleburg, Green Cove Springs, and Keystone Heights all within the West-Side Region of Clay County. 25-40 minutes to downtown and over an hour to the beach & southside corporate offices.
